Welcome to The Harbor’s Blog

“We see a church on its face pursuing the heart of God through intimacy with Jesus Christ, a church that expresses God’s heart by visiting orphans and widows in their need, that shelters the displaced, feeds the hungry and gives hope to the hopeless. We see a church that heals the sick and preaches the good news of Jesus to the poor and broken, where people experience Jesus Christ as the anchor for their souls and where His body is built up and networked to fulfill the Great Commission He gave the disciples. We see a church that sends out apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip Jesus’ body to do the work of the ministry.”

Isaiah 58:6-12  “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen…if you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”
